Honestly I'm not sure if anyone here even cares whether I update or not. Maybe time to just stick with Facebook? I've always liked the anonymity of LJ though...all my REAL LIFE friend and family are on facebook....scary!

Edit: Didn't really think about it at the time, but I do in fact read friends' posts here every day. Although I have to admit that when people have those age-screening filters it makes it much more deterring, lol.

My sister and the rest of her fam is coming out from Colorado tomorrow to celebrate my nephew's bday. Our old family friends Dave and Diane who are also living in Colorado are coming at the same time to visit entirely by coincidence. Gonna be a busy few days.

7 years we have been together...I got the courage to do what I've felt I should do for 2 years...and now I am not sure if I made the right decision. It hurts. Does that mean I made the wrong decision?

Usopp

Became my favorite character in One Piece from the moment he appeared in episode 9. Why Usopp? Well, he's the normal (uh, sort of) guy. No super-human abilities, but the most interesting from a personal character development point of view because he has to fight beside all these super-human dudes, which brings out both the best (overcoming extreme obstacles through ingenuity, strong emotion, faith, and sometimes luck), and worst (lying/bragging to make himself appear more than he is, and usually acting like a whiny coward when he realizes he's in danger). Nami's kind of like that too, but Nami would never come up with Sogeking ^^
I've spent many a day arguing with punks about Usopp's character development and value to the crew...so much hate, fun times.


Shikamaru

Naruto is full of many lame characters, but I like Shikamaru. Brilliant kid that would rather just stare at the clouds. But despite his laziness and shaky self-confidence he can't help but excel to awesomeness as he movies up in ranks that he doesn't even want :P I'm still stuck kind of far behind on Naruto. I haven't even seen the parts where supposedly he's REALLY awesome. I suppose I probably became synonymous with my Shikachu avatar for all the time I used it. :3 *see: Zephos' comics

I joined Arlong Park forums sometime in the fall of 2004. I can't remember when I was asked to be a mod exactly but it couldn't have been more than a year from my joining. Then I got moved up to Admin. Then finally I quit being staff. When was it, a year ago or something? I honestly don't remember. Somehow I always end up becoming staff on internet type things. I can't escape it. Really, there's more disadvantages to having power than perks, if you ask me. I guess people think I'm trustworthy and mature so they give me the position, but the problem is that I like too many people and try to make everyone happy as they all come to me to try and fix everything so my life becomes miserable. You need calloused people who don't take things personally to be mods. :P So anyway, I'm finally starting to enjoy posting on AP again.

Crazy old musicians

Ah, crazy old musicians, where would I be without crazy old musicians? I mean after all, my dad is one :P
I've had crushes on crazy 40-50 year old musicians since I was 12. If you read my Junior High yearbook signatures, half the people make some mention about Peter Cetera. But none was crazier than Patrick Moraz. That was true insanity right there. Even *I* don't know what I was thinking.

Lupin, really? I've got a lot of movies on DVD and I used to watch the series on adult swim, but I never thought of myself as a huge fan or anything. I really love classic retro style anime in general, and Lupin is forever one of the most classic and influential. Even though some of the plot devices are totally lolwut.
